Deep Down Where the Heart Beats No More
" This album kept growing inside me, accompanying my extensive international tours in the 2000s. Each new country was an opportunity to mingle with local musicians and composers, share points of view, discuss and learn. This led to the melting pot of styles that characterises this album. The recordings were spread across three countries (the UK, Spain, and Italy), and the sequence of tunes was conceived with the idea of a musical journey around the world. A vast array of splendid musicians honoured me by joining in and making my tunes shine with their majestic touch."
